hi tarini
thats a nice mail you have written.I am not at all rigid abt my views and
neither was there a personal angle intended(i dont know how you felt it was
meant to be personal).and one more thing i have no where in the mail refuted
the truth that i am from the esteemed college.whats is truth is truth and i
never found it a stigma in my career. So i what i said was, dont get into the
college dirt that u have already made an exit dont get into that thing
unless u can really improve on it.
Regards and good wishes
Tanweer

Subject:  OEC strike matters

Dear all,
i know many of u wont like this mail. But I am very much surprised to see
that somebody can call his batchmates(though, not friends) rogues; implying
what ?? And u all seem to be supporting that !!!! Hey rogues !!! were u
really rogues !!! I was hoping for 1 email from u rogues. But i was fooling
myself. Though I want to bury that chapter , I can't keep quite, when
somebody blames like this publicly, 'coz I was one of the rogues as per the
definition of rogues, given by our batchmate. First of all, if our dear
batchmate thinks that he is very high on memory, then i am sorry to say that
he has either overestimated himself or underestimated the rogues. It
happened during our 6th semester (3rd yr) exams and the rogues never tried
to cause any sort of trouble to our then final semester guys (our
seniors)...they could appear for their back papers too(though initially
there was some problem)...And more over if 20 (may be more) rogues can stop
the exams why 200(may be more) ------ can't do it the other way ??? Or else
they were trying to prove themselves to be -----???, but the seen that day
says negative. And how many of us had the real desire to go for the exam
that day, everybody (including the rogues and ----) knows that very well and
i need not give the count for that. And if rogues didnt ever have anything
to do with the exams or career, then they r not supposed to be doing good
now. But we all can see, they r not doing bad as the -----expected. Then how
can somebody judge that the rogues were right or wrong !!! if not right then
why wrong !!! If i can remember, even some ---- had passed comments like
"TOKI *#*&*$*#^*&#$ ". Some -----had even tried to misbehave the girls
standing infront of the entrance (sorry girls, for revealing that, though i
think most of us know that), taking the advantage of the situation. Now u
can say rogues created such a situation that, the ----- were forced to do
that. RIGHT?? That very much tells who were rogues that day. The ----- mech
guys seemed to be very happy when they got a much easier paper the other day
for the cancelled one. Most of ----- electronics batchmates were unhappy
with the strike, 'coz they got a relatively difficult paper. So ultimately
what everybody expects is an easy paper and a big gap between papers...if
the rogues had the motive of skipping the exam, then how the ----- were
different from them...OK he didnt say that. Some of the ---- could also
realize, what the rogues really wanted to do and came to them during the
last few OEC days with statements like " u did something for the better and
because of that only we didnt have to face the same terrible consequences
of our traditional strike during our final semesters ", Who am i talking to
??? I never really wanted to say all those stuff, but at the same time dont
want to be blamed like that also. I still love my college and friends who
were there with me during the bad times r there with me during the good
times also. If oec98 is a place for personal rotten issues, then i'd prefer
staying out of the group. My id is sambitsatpathy@h..., anybody
having administrative authority can remove me from the group. I have nothing
more to say...
bye all
a ROGUE(as described )

Subject:  gosh ...it's getting a little HOT !

hi all,

we should take care that none of the mail ids are
removed from OEC98 (esp. not SAMBIT's n others who
keep writing to OEC98).
it's our forum and anyone is welcome to put  his views
forth
. As long as the mail is not vulgar
it's okay with OEC98 :-) (it's tolerant !!! ) .
it was nice to get mails from sambit, tarini ,tapas
and tanweer
on this issue . though we DIFFERED !!!
i am sure that within no time it will be okay .
i feel we are getting closer to each other with each
passing year .

THANKS TO OEC98 :-).

Subject:  Re: [oec98] Debasis' & Sambit's Tehelka! ....and Luna's Tehelka too!!!

hey men and women
whats so " Tehelka" but no tapes  hahahaha
well some people  basking on glory of others, these people  were beating guys(juniors) who supported the cause and all of a sudden at night 2:30 changed hahahahaaa and they speak so high .....well the whole strike was initiated guys you all know by whom and why and how they maligned my reputation and now they speak so high ..why the f**k should I have been a party to their motives when .....they were the guys till the first day of strike had been trying to fizzle it ....
well let me recount event by event....
1) This all started with Anoop Nanda , Zulu(Junior) and sandeep mishra at zulus mess ...I was also present so was jolly singh and some of their juniors....
2) I was asked by sushil Nanda and Susant tripathy to help them  out ...I had initially refused but later realised that may be this was a chance to stop an end to these yearly activities of the faculty...I saw a reason.........
3) I had very little support from our batch I remember the guys who had initially helped Siddharth Hota, Ramesh, kiran, sanjay Kanwar,Rupesh,Arun Nayak, Jenu Abraham, Hrsihikesh patra....we were trying our heart out with suppport from juniors like sandeep mishra, satanik das ,anoop nanda , jolly singh etc etc these guya made it happen....everything was fine....
4) During this time some people like Raj Bisoi, Dhaeen,Anshuman Nanda pranab Mohapatra, had gone and beaten some juniors of 1st year we had to rush from our monitoring point jollys mess to that nagar where 1st years had their hostel...had to convince them to have guts....
5) Our idea was to get a stay order from court anoop nanda and sandeep mishra tried in cuttack Alas! it failed ...we called off the strike at night 10;30 in jollys mess a day before the first exam of 2nd semester guys. All the time no support from these so called stalwarts.....they were out and out to fizzle it....!
6) Frustrated some of us got drunk and they dropped me at hotas place with a book to study for examination SAAD I am forgetting the name of the course....
Then the history changed and they took the ..........
7) 2;30 am in the night a yezdi stops in front of hotas place with three guys
Ashutosh sahu,Sambit sathpathy,Anshuman Nanda...they want me as such all of us had separated much earlier  and they had tried to fizzle out the strike so everyone in hotas mess was suspicious ....Rupesh and all wanted to accompany me and even i remember rupesh telling me ....we will inform the police if you are not back in half an hour ....to  talk to them i went down and they wanted me to come with them to ladies hostel....the girls wanted to talk to me ....That was my mistake perhaps.....
Everyone in hotas mess asked me to be back in half an hour else they would come over............
8) I was shocked for these very girls of our year were against it and now they wanted the strike to continue at night 3:00 hhahahahah
9) I re-planned and did all the strategizing  informing all juniors and regrouping everyone  even where to stop all the buses etc and everyone forgot me who cares who wins hahahahahah as zulu says ....
"Brudhaaa beseeya sati....." hahahah hahhaha the satlwarts hahahhaha....
10) I had initiated and now things were in others hands i had no control so preferred to keep myself out after being threatenned by kamini Patnaik on the fateful day that he will mar my career ....witness to this were Dhir and sohan mishra(seniors).... did any one care for me then
well sorry if I have hurt anyone in this but thats the truth ...........
so I had no intention of raking up the past but .......I dont like the howling of these double faced hypocrites ....

"friends saviours and stalwarts" so sssssssooooooorrrry

gyan please unsubscribe me for not interested in tehelkaaaa's

all the best guys and girls for a highly prosperous career
keep conquering the world and shining

Hi all!

Only a tehelka mail from Debasis and a equally tehelka follow up by Sambit
could give us a surge of mails to our egroup....err yahoogroup. As zulu puts
it people differed and in a group ppl should differ and then only we get a
vivrant group! Dont worry none of the members will be removed....they are
indispensible considering that it took us 2 1/2 years to add 120 members to
this group!!

And with that sprit I would love to announce that Luna Patnaik-Panda has got
thru Price Waterhouse Coopers and will be joining in 1st May. Catch her at
lunapanda@123india.com.

I guess I also heard that Jyotiraditya Rath and Prajna Tripathy got thru
TCS!!! Can somebody confirm that.

Had a nice trip to Bhubaneswar. Met Budha i mean SSDas. Sorry will send you
guys some photographs taken with him!

Keep up the tempo.

Warm regards,

Gyan
